Powerful cutting of metals with the STAMOS plasma cutter 

The STAMOS plasma cutter is equipped with a modern IGBT inverter that reliably ensures all performance values. The plasma cutter achieves a maximum cutting current of 85 A. At maximum power, the plasma cutter can be operated with a duty cycle of 60%. If you want to cut with 100% duty cycle, the cutting current must be regulated below 65.8 A. The plasma cutter is supplied with 400 V high-voltage current via a 3-phase connection. 

The powerful plasma cutter from STAMOS achieves a cutting depth of up to 27 mm at maximum power, depending on the metal. You can use the plasma arc to process a wide variety of workpieces made of steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium or titanium and cut or separate them according to your ideas.  

All values ​​under control on the STAMOS plasma cutter 

The control panel of the STAMOS plasma cutter is very clearly laid out. You can continuously adjust the cutting current from 20 to 85 A using a rotary control, which is shown on a large LED display for better control. You can use another rotary control to determine the gas post-flow time to optimally protect the kerf and cool the torch. You can easily choose between 2-stroke and 4-stroke operation via a switch. All elements on the control panel are arranged in such a way that they can be easily adjusted even when wearing welding gloves. 

The plasma cutter impresses with a stable pilot plasma arc 

The plasma arc is activated via a non-contact pilot ignition and develops its high cutting performance right from the start. The pilot arc can also be used to cut grids and gratings. It can be controlled via the cutting torch with a 2-stroke or 4-stroke circuit. Compressed air at 5.5 bar is required for the plasma arc, which you can set precisely with the manometer and pressure reducer included in the scope of delivery. 

For optimal freedom of movement, the plasma cutter is equipped with a high-quality plasma hose package that, with a length of 5 m, does not restrict you when cutting plasma. 

At STAMOS, safety is the top priority for plasma cutters 

A powerful fan that reliably cools the device and ensures optimal air exchange ensures safe operation of the STAMOS plasma cutter. However, if the operating temperature is exceeded, overheating protection is integrated in the device. As a further safety feature, the plasma cutter is equipped with overvoltage protection.

Funktioniert gut, kein Problem. Etwas empfindlich beim Start, wenn man also das Potentiometer für Ampere und Gas nicht in der Ausgangsposition hat, löst die 16A-Sicherung in der Zentrale aus. Könnte eine größere Sicherung brauchen. Sobald er läuft, kein Problem. Transportschaden an der Maschine, aber nicht der Fehler der Maschine.
